golden milk

I love this recipe on a cool morning while I read a book, it’s a cup of liquid sunshine! It’s the perfect blend of warmth and nourishment, making every sip a hug for my soul, and now yours xx

ingredients

1 can coconut milk

1/2 cup - 1 cup water

1/2" fresh ginger ( roughly chopped )

1 cinnamon stick

2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp vanilla

maple syrup to taste

step by step

  1. Add all ingredients ( except maple syrup ) to a small pot and heat on low heat for 10 - 50 minutes. ( Don't boil, just bring to a light simmer! )

  2. Add maple syrup in individually mugs and enjoy your mug-nificent drink!
